In Labor's Corner

From its inception, MRZine.org has placed a special emphasis on labor, including labor unions and labor movements worldwide, wages, hours and working conditions, and the nature of work. We have already published more than thirty timely essays on subjects ranging from the recent split in the AFL-CIO to labor struggles in South Korea. We aspire to be a place where working people can analyze, debate, and discuss the important labor issues of the day.

We encourage readers to submit articles on any labor-related topic, including personal essays about their own work experiences, as well as poetry and short stories with working-class themes. Submissions should be relatively short (500-1,500 words), nonsectarian, and jargon-free. Submissions can be sent by email, either as attachments or pasted into messages, to Michael Yates at <mikedjyates@msn.com>. If you are unsure about your submission or want more information, send a query to the same address.
